AFRICA RISING

Last weekend, international fashion designers, models and politicians descended upon The Kennedy Center in DC for 2008's Africa Rising presentation. The event, intended to promote leading African designers and help positively change the public view of the African continent as a whole, culminated with a runway show and performances by Jay-Z and John Legend.
